Our Story
Founded in 2020, the PDK Lady Pilots is a nonprofit organization established by Mindy Boswell, Victoria Clark, Rebecca Carlson, and Jacqueline Bassette to support the growing community of female pilots in Atlanta.
The club emerged in response to a clear need: while aviation organizations existed, few were designed specifically for pilots—and fewer still centered on women. PDK Lady Pilots fills that gap by fostering connection, mentorship, and camaraderie among women who fly.
The PDK Lady Pilots are dedicated to inspiring and empowering women of all backgrounds to pursue aviation through scholarships, mentorship, workshops, and community outreach. We are committed to breaking barriers, fostering inclusivity, and showcasing the essential role women play in the aviation industry. With a strong focus on air safety, we strive to create a supportive network that advances the future of aviation for all.
